    Unanswered: Character

    Hi All,

I need to know which character represents the tab. For example, chr(11) is carriage return. Thanks.

I am not sure I understand. Are you saying that chr(9) represents the tab? Thanks.

I typed "9" and hit submit. I got a message saying that the text of my reply must be at least 10 characters. So, I typed some extra crap.

btw, chr(11) is not really a carriage return. it's a function call which returns the character representation of ascii value 11, which is a carriage return. This is a carriage return:

(the blank above - it's actually 2 cr's). The ascii value of TAB is "9".
