Unanswered: Null variable in a subform

    Hello,

I created a form that includes a continous subform that holds 4 values that can be selected from a combo box. I am able to select my value but if I go to remove a value I receive a, "You tried to assign a Null value to a variable that is not a Variant data type."

I am using the query builder that uses a simple select statement for the subform. Is there something, I can do to prevent this message from occuring and allowing me to remove a value?

Check your underlying table for the subform to make sure the fields you want to be able to contain a null value are set to accept them.

    Thanks for the reply,

Your right, I don't believe the tables will accept a null value because I have a M:M relationship and I believe the field that holds the value is a primary key. I may be better off with using a datasheet form and using a delete.
