    Unanswered: Conversion Question

I have several Access 2000 databases (split be-fe) that I will need to convert to Access 2003. Could anyone tell me what kind of problems I might have or is the conversion easy?

    Thanks,
    Sheila

One that i have heard of the the DAO vs ADO problems, same as we had going from 97 to 2k but reverse...

In 2003 DAO seems to be the default again.

Do you mean that if the database uses ADO I have to rewrite it using DAO - or are there references that will allow the ADO to work?

In all versions from 2000 on you have the DAO and ADOX references.

In 97 we only had DAO, so everything was created in dao. Then came 2000 with default ADO.

Now 2003 (i hear) default is back to DAO, but ADO is still there as a reference. No need to rewrite in particular if you used stuff like:

    Dim rst as DAO.Recordset

    and or alike for ADO

You may need te relink the fitting reference.

OK, sounds like it's actually possible to do this!

    Thanks,
