    Unanswered: Combobox and value entered

    Hello,
I have a quick question, I hope. I have a combobox that contains some values that are pre-defined in a table. By default one is alredy selected. However, whenever I select the combobox the first, I get a message
"The value you entered isn't valid for this field".

Then when you click on OK, the message is gone, and the combobox drops down and then I am able to select my choice. I know I have the properties set correctly has Column count 2: Width 0";1".

The table that holds the value is as such:
    Table1:
    ID
    Name

Is there a way, I can make this message disappear w/o having to redesign my db structure, which, I don't think is necessary.

    Thank you,

You may just have to re-evaluate your recordsource. Im pretty sure you could get it to just display what you need (the values that actually appear) without having to declare the two columns.

    perhaps default value?

have a look at the default value in the combobox properties...
In your case i expect you have got the id in column 0 so the default value
    has to be numeric.
