    Unanswered: Oracle Database server

    Hello
I want to know if Oracle Database and Oracle Database Server are
    the same product.
I have seen a alert of security of Oracle and the Products Affected are:
    Oracle Database 10g Release 1, version 10.1.0.2
    Oracle9i Database Server Release 2, versions 9.2.0.4 and 9.2.0.5

żOracle Database 9i and Oracle9i Database Server Release are the same product? I think so, but I am not sure.

    Thanks a lot.

Database Server & Database are one and the same. The confusion lies in that there are 2 releases of Oracle 9i - Release 1 is version 9.0 & Release 2 is version 9.2

So "Oracle9i Database Server Release 2, versions 9.2.0.4 and 9.2.0.5", put more simply, means "Oracle 9i versions 9.2.0.4 & 9.2.0.5".

Similarly, Oracle Database 9i and Oracle9i Database Server Release are the same product i.e. Oracle 9i
