Unanswered: Converting an Excel forumula into a vba procedure...

I am trying to convert a spreadsheet that i have created into a database.

This is due to the level of information that is in the spreadsheet at the moment, and is llikey to expand dramatically very soon.

Here's a rough outline of the Excel formula i've used:

Now i'll explain how the database method is planned to work.

The user selects the type of wheel they want to build (front or rear). they then get a screen that asks them to select the following information:

Hub (already differred from the rear hubs in the same table through a query)
    Holes (32, 36, 42, 48 holes)
    Cross Pattern (0, 1, 2, 3 or 4, where 3 is the recommended pattern).

The user then will hit calculate and the above forumla (when it is in code form will run all the values.

These values should be lifted from the appropriate table (which is attached if you need clarification.

If anyone could help with translating this into code, i would be very grateful.

    Intitial thoughts are:-

Use DLookUp funtion(s) based on user selection to asign required values to variables and include the variable in the formular to calculate the requied result.

The required result ten could be asigned to a textbox or update query or whatever it is you want to do with it!!

Just a quick thought for the week end. Have a nice one!
