    Unhappy Unanswered: JDBC Driver connecting with Web logic fails

    Hi guys,

    Info: Windows 2000, Udb DB2 8.1 FP 7 and Web Logic 8.1.0

    We connect a Java Application through Web Logic connection pool. The userid and schema of applications is db2admin.

    1.- I change the schema to X and give the authorization to user Y ( create schema x authorization Y)

    2.- Give the auth and privileges necessary to y

    GRANT DBADM ON DATABASE TO USER y;
    GRANT CONNECT ON DATABASE TO USER y;
    GRANT CREATETAB ON DATABASE TO USER y;
    GRANT IMPLICIT_SCHEMA ON DATABASE TO USER y;
    GRANT BINDADD ON DATABASE TO USER y;
    GRANT CREATE_NOT_FENCED_ROUTINE ON DATABASE TO USER y;
    GRANT LOAD ON DATABASE TO USER y;
    GRANT CREATE_EXTERNAL_ROUTINE ON DATABASE TO USER y;
    GRANT QUIESCE_CONNECT ON DATABASE TO USER y;

    IS THERE ANY PROBLEM to establish the connection to DB?

    Do we need additional configuration either, in DB2 or Web logic to solve the problem?

    Thanks in advance

    I have troubles for connection. The weblogic administrator assures that the problem is for the change of the scheme. The application doesn't qualify the tables. It’s obvious that never see the tables without the qualifier. But the big issue is that connection to database continues refused it.
