    Unanswered: Alter table privilege

    I am in the DBA role, and I can issue a statement like:

    ALTER TABLE schema.tablename DISABLE ALL TRIGGERS;

    I have another user with the ALTER ANY TABLE privilege, but they are not allowed to issue the same statement. What privilege do I have that I can grant to this user? I'd thought the ANY privilege above would solve this problem.

    -Thanks

    Looks like there's an ALTER ANY TRIGGER privilege that works. Strange since the statement I was using began with 'ALTER TABLE...'

    You are correct in that you have to have "alter any trigger" priv...
    You are actually altering the status of the trigger, not the table structure...

    select status from all_triggers where table_name = 'tablename';
