    Unanswered: Mysqldump

    Hi all,

1.I want to dump the output of a query to a file,I am using
Mysql <batch.sql> output.txt ,where batch.sql has the select statement.
Till here its fine, but the coulmn name also appears in the output file.Is there a way I can get rid of this without manually editing this.

2.I wanted to use mysqldump which was better but the query happened to be a join between two tables,so am forced to use a batch file.

    Table A Table B
    ------------------ ---------------------------
ID Name ID Time Shift Grp
    -- --------- -- ----- ----- ---
    1 Mike 1 10:00 2 3
    2 Lal 2 11:00 3 3
    3 Steven 1 11:00 2 3
    4 Hari 3 11:00 2 1

I want the output to be as

    Mike 10:00 2 3
    Lal 11:00 3 3
    Mike 11:00 2 3
    Steven 11:00 2 1

    I would appreciate a help.

    Thanks Micky
