    Unanswered: finding row size

    Hi,
Anyone got any ideas how to calculate the occupied row size of a table?

Well, you can have a max and a min because of varchar and nvarchar

Don't forget to about text, ntext and image. They're 16 bytes on the row, which is a pointer to another location.

And don't forget about the internal storage size of datatypes.

This could roughly be calculated from information_schema.columns.
