    Lightbulb Unanswered: Copy of DB

    Hello, I want to keep an exact copy of my Oracle 9i data base, in Other different machine, The first one is a red hat linux machine, the other is windows 2000 ?

    Can you explain me step by step what to do ?

    you can make use of transportable tablespace feature or clone it from a cold backup

    highly recommend RTM at http://tahiti.oracle.com all manual from 8i to 10g are available
