    Unanswered: Query help!!

I have a query linked to a table with 20 records

The table has fields "ID" and one called "Age" but not all the ages are entered, hence the query returns all the ID's and some of them have no "age".

I want an expression in the query to say "not entered" if an ID has no age. Something like an 'IIF' or 'Nz' command?

I cant do it with a lookup field in the table, its got to be in the query.

This depends on the column type for the age column ... A simple NZ(AgeColumn,"Not Entered") will work ... You'll have more difficulties if the age column is numeric (basically this won't work)...
Back to Access ... ADO is not the way to go for speed ...
