var sidebar_align = 'right';
var content_container_margin = parseInt('290px');
var sidebar_width = parseInt('270px');
in Oracle, when I insert into a table like :
INSERT INTO "TEST" ("ID" ,"NAME" ) VALUES (15 , '&_')
It does not accept "&_" string, it popup a window to input value of variable
Please tell me what should I do?
Thanks in advanced
"&" Is used to create a temporary substitution variable and will prompt you for a value every time it is referenced.
Concatenate & and _, such as:
INSERT INTO test (id, name) VALUES (15, '&' || '_');
In your SQL Plus session try the foll:
SQL> set scan off
SQL> INSERT INTO "TEST" ("ID" ,"NAME" ) VALUES (15 , '&_')
1 row created.
You can also use
SQL> set escape on
