    Unanswered: log file

I would like to know if is possible to have a log file in an VB application and access 2000 database. I want to store all the information about the users who use the application and what changes (and when) they make in the database. Is it possible to do automatically???
    Thank you!!!

Yes, you can create log files via the "Open" procedure in VBA. FYI, your asking a very broad question.

Yes, you can do it in Acce$$, you can store all the information you need in a table, which could be later quried...

yes, you can create a log system in access. but it cannot be automated on table level. because there is no TRIGGERs for mdb databases. you will probably need to write the log code into your forms' afterupdate events and do it in form level.
    ghozy.

Thank you, I'm keeping the information in a new table, when I do a update or insert in a table, I do an insert in the table for the logs.
