    Unhappy Unanswered: Generating .TRP Files

    Calling all DB2 gurus ...

    I have an exception followed by a crash in the db2syscs.exe process.

    My problem is "how do I get a .TRP file to report to IBM " ?

    I ran the db2nstck utility, but that gives me a Pxxxx.000 file (where xxxx is the pid of the db2syscs.exe process).

    I have searched everywhere but I still can't figure out how to get .TRP files.

    Please help ...

    TRP file Name Convention

    For Your Information
    A trap file is generated in the DB2 diagnostic directory.The files are created using the following naming convention:
    Unix: tpppppp.nnn(pppppp is process ID, nnn is the nod where the trap occured), Eg. t123456.000;
    Intel: DBpppttt.TRP (ppp is process ID, ttt is thread ID) Eg.DB123653.TRP
