    Post Unanswered: Access to Excell

Is there an easy way to take a column from an access table and make it become a Row in excel?
Its easy to export a table or report to Excel but the columns in Access are always converted to Columns in Excel.
Its would be similiar to the Transpose in Excel when pasting special.

Couldn't you paste it into an empty document in Excel and then use the Transpose paste function within Excel?

Yes, that works. However, as I keep adding records to access, this requires me to keep doing that and/or inserting. Basically, updating two data bases, access and Excel.

I know it can be done programmatically but I thought there might a simpler built in method.

I can't exactly thell you how you can do it step by step, because I never tried such thing before. but I can offer something to focus on.
you might want to do it in VBA.
create a recordset that includes the values you wanted. open excel sheet as COM control. and place values into excel cells manualy with a for each (or a regular for next)loop.
    ghozy.
