Question Unanswered: Help with duplicate records

I have a table with the following fields,
    Users
    Description
    Time Out
    Time In.
I have bound this table to a form so that a user picks his name and fills in the info under the other fields. The problem is I want a user with the option of doing it mutiple times under his specifc user. Everytime I try it, it overwrites the existing info under the table.
    can anybody help?
    Thanks!

If a user has multiple records, you need a way to differentiate which record you want to edit for each user. There are a couple ways of doing this, but the simplest at this time would be to add an additional column that uniquely identifies that record (called a primary key). If desired, you can also use 2 columns as a primary key (for example - User and Date).

    Primary Key
    Users
    Date

    Description
    Time Out
    Time In.

If you always have the same users, a future growth would be to set up a new table with just user names and a primary key, to use in a combo box on your form. Another table would store the date, and the primary key from the User Name Table. You can learn all about relationships.

    Hope this helps
