    Unanswered: add a line break or character return ??

    In Access 2000 I have code so that a user can add notes to a memo field. they enter the new data in a text box and the code adds that inputed data to the memo field. I do this so that eah usrs input is logged and the memo field can;t have information removed.
    This is the code :

    DoCmd.DoMenuItem acFormBar, acRecordsMenu, acSaveRecord, ,
    SQL = "UPDATE Client_Tbl SET Client_Tbl.Goal1Notes = Goal1notes&forms!Goal_form!textinp&Chr(32)&CURRENT USER()&Chr(32)&NOW() Where upd=forms!Goal_form!textinp"
    DoCmd.RunSQL SQL

    Is there a way to add a line break or cairrage return so that each new entry is is seperated on a different line?

    I haven't tested it but it should work. Just add Chr(13) & Chr(10)

    10 - Line Feed
    13 - Carriage Return
