Unanswered: Command Button Help - Deleting Records

I have a command button (cmdopen) on a main form which opens a specific record on a second form (which I have got to work).

But I also need the "cmdopen" command button to run the delete button on the second form - thus deleting the record displayed on the form automatically.

Can I do it with code or a macro?

    Cheers

What is the purpose of first opening the record on another form before deleting it? Why not just delete the record? In this case, you can use the Command Button wizard to a create a button to delete a record.

I need the delete button to run automatically because I have a listbox on the first form which lets the user select a record to view.

I want to be able to select this record from the listbox on the first form and have it deleted without actually having to go into the second form myself and clicking the delete button in there. Im trying to automate the database a little and save time.
