    Unanswered: Reports in Access

How do I insert multiple detail sections into an Access 2000 report?

try making a bunch of child reports with a single detail section and another mother report...drag the children into mother.detail

We have done that. The problem we now have is that in running the 4 sub reports (child reports) the keep asking for dates to be input as they are drawing from 4 different queries requiring a start and finish date.

Is there some way of avoiding the need to keep entering the same dates?

Well, one way is to remove the date fields from the child reports - if you don't need the date fields, they shouldn't be there.

Another way would be to place the matching field on the parent report and relate the parent field to the child filed.

    Good luck!
    have fun!

my solution is that i never use parameter queries (for this situation, or any other situation)

here's my take on it, but you'll find many similar suggestions on this site.
