    Unanswered: Generate a beep ?

    is that possible to do on the clientside or does only the server "beep" as the code run on the server..
    I´ve seen this one is used somethimes in VBA. Is it possible to use in asp?

    you'd have to do it with javascript I would suspect.... not entirely sure how you would manage it though... I will try and figure out more tomorrow as it is time to hit the pub....

    I used a javascript as you recomended, I tough got a security problem with unsecure active-x control in I.E settings
    But that is another forum..

    Ouch, yup, you would get a problem with that. in fact most browsers will tell that script.
