    Unanswered: option group backcolor function

I'm really new at this. Sorry if this question already asked, but couldn't find my answer. I have an option group (on a form) w/ 2 options. When 1 is selected, I want to change certain fields to yellow and others remain default color. When other is selected, I want to reverse the color scheme. This is to indicate to user which fields to fill in based on an initial choice.

In the BeforeUpdate() event for the option group, I check the group's value (1 or 2) with and make the appropriate color changes (using If...Then...Else). The text boxes change color just fine (using textBox.BackColor=vbYellow). However, when I try to do the same with another option group (using grp1.BackColor=vbYellow), nothing happens. I don't care If I change the whole group background, the color of the checkboxes, the label color or whatever. I just want something in that option group to turn yellow.

    Thanks

    Dan

Thanks for the grammar lesson. Did you mean "too" much? Get a hobby.
