I am running into problems with my Cygwin installation on Windows 2000 with regard to having administrator privileges. I believe that some of my other programs (Ex: cron) are not functioning properly due to the fact that my user does not have administrator privileges. Before I say more, here are some return values to some basic commands:

id = uid=500(Administrator) gid=513(None) groups=0(root),513(None),544(Administrators),545(U sers)

WhoAmI = Administrator

mkpasswd -l = SYSTEM:*:18:544:,S-1-5-18::

Right now when I am using Cygwin I am logged in as "Administrator", although I am not sure if this user has administrator privileges. Do you know how I can verify that the "Administrator" account has administrator privileges, and if it doesn't how can I grant them? I am hoping this is just a rookie mistake of mine....

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
