    Unanswered: Call Stored Procedure from one DB to another DB

    Hi All,

    Brief:
    Is there any way to connet to any remote database and execute the stored procedure from one database?

    Details:
    I've got connected to one Database say (DB-A) and executing stored procedure say (SP-1). My requirement is, I have to call stored procedure say (SP-2) resides at some other remote database (DB-B). How can I achve the same?

    System Info:
    OS: Windows 2000 Server, SP-IV
    DB: DB2 UDB 8.1.3

    You should be able to set up Federation between the two DB2 servers. THen you can use SET PASSTHRU SQL to execute on the remote server.

    Read the "Federated Systems Guide". It is one of the DB2 manuals.
