Unanswered: How can I make my form editable?

I have some forms. I set all forms are allow editable, allow deleted, allow addition, the control source is table or recordset
But I found some forms are editable, and values is changed,
But some of the form, I try to edit, there is message in the task panel “ the form is not editable” and the value is not changed.
Does anyone know what’s wrong? How can I make my form editable?

    thanks a lot

    another form editable question

I have some forms and allow user editable the source control is table
Currently, when I changed the value in the form, it will change in the table, but I want to change the values and the value is overwritten to the table until I click the save. If I didn’t click save, I don’t want the changes are updated in the table
Does anybody know how to realize this one? Thanks a lot
