Where are you pulling your data from? Query? Table?

Re: recordset is not Updatable in subform PLEASE HELP!

    Thanks for your replies.
My subform was getting it's recordsource from a query but somehow it is not working now. I tried it bound the table to subform and it's fine. I have a primary key field in table.
I got to get it working today. Can anyone give a temporary solution if not.

    THANKS

Basically if your form/report is based upon a query that contains certain types of relationships, your recordset may not be updateable. Check the recordsource for the subform to determine this.

Are your master and child fields OK? These link your form to your subform. Check that your queries are based on one table each. One query for the main form data, a second query for the subform, and these should not have the same tables in them.
