Unanswered: Check if database is used

    Hi,

Iīm verry new to Informix. I want to write a shell script, which figures out, if a database is currently accessed by user(s) and print the possible user(s) on the screen.

I think I have to use the sysuser table... Is this right?

Has anybody an example or a tipp?

    Thanx in advance

    Chris

Why don't you just use onstat -u command, it will show you everybody who is using the instance. If you take a look at onstat -g sql session id it will show you the last sql that the user executed.
