Unanswered: 3 Tables making up one form

I query three tables to make up one form and i am having trouble because the recordset become non updatable when you query more than two tables for some reason?

does anyone know why or a way round it?

I have three tables because i have one for the product, one for the product description and one for the category?

Dont ask me why, i didnt design the tables and i cannot re design them?

This is an ODBC connection to OsCommerce

What is the relationship between the tables? Is there a one-many relationship between product and category? if there is you can use main forms and sub forms to edit the data.

If there is no relationship between the tables then you should create a separate form for each table.

Do your tables have 1-1 or 1-many relationships? You cannot update queries with tables with 1-to-many relationships, or queries with tables that have no relationship. So, use subforms.

They are all 1 - 1 relationships, none of them are one to many
