    Unanswered: IPC connection (again)

    First of all,thnx guys for Your replay on my last post.
    Lat's talk again..
    I'm trying (don't ask me why ) to establish IPC connection to my db.Oracle 9.2.0.1,Linux
    LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1
    SID_NAME=GAMESMS
    SERVICE_NAME=gamesms.eronet.ba

    I added next line in my listener.ora
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = IPC)(KEY = GAMESMS))

    Next lines are added in tnsnames.ora:
    IPCGAMESMS.LOCALDOMAIN =
    (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS_LIST =
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = IPC)(KEY = GAMESMS))
    )
    (CONNECT_DATA =
    ((SID = GAMESMS))
    )
    And,of course,it not working
    Now,listener works fine and starting listener don't tall me any error or warning.But, tnsping ipcgamesms told me "Segmentation fault".Is it really necessery to add description for new ipc connection in tnsnames.ora?How i can see in different articles,it is not neccessary.What netname for ipc connection i can test with tnsping?
    Please help !
    TIA,Zvonimir
