    Unanswered: Shelling the mediaplayer

I tried this, the player opens but don´t know what to do with extension, and next to that it cann´t find the path althoug the path and filename are correct :

    Shell "C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\WMPLAYER.EXE " & _
    Me!MuzArc.Column(1) & Me!MuzBst.Column(1)

Me!MuzArc.Column(1) helds the pathname ie. C:\Music\
Me!MuzBst.Column(1) helds the filename with extension ie. SongName.WMA

Concerning the extension, when I click on the file in the explorer it starts oke.

    any help

try using short path/file name system instead of the joliet system. Use the GetShortPathName API function which is contained within the "kernel32.dll".

Oke, nice, but could you be more specific with an example.

I understand that the kernel32.dll must be in de reference /object browser
but i cannot register it with :

    regsvr32 "C:\I386\kernel32.dll

get message that "entrypoint of DLLregisterserver not found"

next to that i found out that spaces in file-path of the song makes the error,

    for instance : C:\MUSIC JAZZ\BLUE NIGHT.WMA gives ERROR
    and : C:\MUSICJAZZ\BLUENIGHT.WMA works fine
even : C:\MUSIC_JAZZ\BLUE_NIGHT.WMA also works fine
