    Unanswered: How to change Date (yyyy-mm-dd) to Date(dd-mm-yyyy) in mysql?

    Hi dude,

    I just want to know the way to change default value for DATE in mysql from (0000-00-00) to (00-00-00).

    Can anyone help me?

    you cannot change the internal format, the way mysql stores dates

    you cannot deviate from specifying input dates from year-month-day sequence, although you may specify dates as strings ('2004-10-31') or numbers (20041031)

    but for display, you may format the display of dates in a bazillion different ways

    see the DATE_FORMAT() function
