    Unanswered: Display Value in Combo Box

    I have a simple problem. I won't post up my whole table so here's an example using a table called 'person':

    • Person#
    • Forename
    • Surname

    If I have a link table which selects the forename and surname from the person table based on the person# and generate a combox box for the persons name. The problem I'm having is it only displays on field in the dropdown. Although forename and surname are two seperate fields in the combo box I want it to show both. It will show both when you click the arrow on the dropdown, but in a normal state upon form loading it'll only display one field. Is there any solution for this?

    Please bare in mind that I'm fairly new to access and have little experience with VBA. If someone could provide me with some guidance I'd be most grateful.

    Best Regards,
    - Mist

    Hi Mist

    A very quick Soloution for You in your Combobox rowsource, put SQL Like this in

    SELECT [Person].[Person#], [ForeName] & " " & [SurName] AS FullName FROM [person];
    You can the use the Person Number for your results

    Hope this is of some Help
