Unanswered: Concatenated Field with Mixed formatting

Is there a way to concatenate 2 fields with 2 different formats? For example: [Variable length message ]& ' ' &[Italicized phone number]. I want the message to say 'For questions on this call 800-555-1212.

    Thanks

    hammbakka,

    How?

Yes the concatenate is easy, the italic is the hard part (for me anyway)

Sorry I misunderstood your question. Where would you like to show this? In a Message box. Then you can't. But you can do your own message box using a form and two Lables or two TextBoxes. The second one should be formated as italics.

    Hope that can help.

I'm trying to show this on a report. There is a table a field of variable length statements. Some of the fields have phone numbers that must be italicized others do not. The phone number must go at the end.

For Example: For information on you bill call 1-222-5551.
    Call us with questions 800-555-1212.
    See web_page.com for for information.
Visit your local office at 2323 Main St. USA for more information.

    hammbakka,

Your can use concatenate in a message box, form or query. You are still missing the problem. The member (analyst) wants to concatenate two fields, that is to put phonenumber and varmessage into one as say txtmessage_phonenum. That is the easy part, what he or she wants to do in that new control is make the phonenumber part to be itallic.
