    Unanswered: Simple update query, but dont know how

    This should be easy I am sure but I am still learning access 2003.

    I have 2 tables, In table A I created a field called "Sales Office" within Table B is the actual data in a field called Office.

    I created an update query brought in Table A and B, linked the tables:

    Sales Office <---> Office

    in the design grid I have Sales Office within "Field" and in the update field I have "Office" plugged in from table B. Now when I click "View" its not populating Table B "office" data into Table A "Sales Office Field.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thank you ahead of time.

    On the ToolBar there should be what looks like an Exclamation Point. Click that to run your query. OR in the MenuBar select Query and then RUN.

    that's about it
