    Exclamation Unanswered: Rep-52003

Reports servlet not able to open any html or gif files after a period of
    operation on Windows 2000.
We get error REP-52003 : Read Reports template D:\ora9iasd\reports\templates\showjobs.htm failed

Looking at application.log located at middle tier home\j2ee\OC4J_BI_Forms\application-deployments\reports\OC4J_BI_Forms_default_island_1

    java.lang.IllegalStateException: Response is already committed

Does anyone know why this error might occur?

    Fix
This is due to JDK 1.3.1 bug.
Details of this JDK bug can be found at
    http://developer.java.sun.com/develo...s/4189011.html

Due to this bug more than 2035 files cannot be opened by JDK simultaneously.
To workaround this problem set numproc=2 in middle tier opmn.xml for
    OC4J_BI_Forms.
Doing this , two jvm will be started for OC4J_BI_Forms.
The combined capacity of two jvms will be 2*2035 concurrent open files.
This will prevent/delay the error from occuring.
You can lead some folks to knowledge, but you can not make them think.
The average person thinks he's above average!
For most folks, they don't know, what they don't know.

If you search on metalink with "rep-52003" you will find that solution but I want to be sure that is really a solution because in my application.log there is no "too many open files..." as in example given on metalink.
As you can see in my application.log stands "java.lang.IllegalStateException: Response is already committed..."
Is your answer still change of numprocs in opmn.xml?
