    Question Unanswered: Reset running total count

    Hi,

    Im trying to reset a count on a field at 50... Meaning I have a list of employees, i want CR to count to 50 then reset and count 50 more, and so on and so forth... Ive look all around the web and i cannot find much help. I know there has got to be a formula that can do this. If anyone can help please respond...

    Thumbs up

    Hi jcoe, instead of Running total field use the following formula fileds
    Code:
    Formula1 : @Reset which has the code
    numbervar s;
    whileprintingrecords;
    if recordnumber mod 50 =0 then s:=0

    Formula2 : @Summation which has the code
    numbervar s;
    whileprintingrecords;
    s:=s+1;
    Place these two formulae in the details section and suppress @Reset
    Now you can see the result what you expected.
