Make sure that you have IIS or PWS installed.
Make sure you have the current MDAC drivers installed. (2.5 or 2.7)
Create a DSN for the access DB in question.
In your Dreamweaver files select Window/Database and select the DSN.

Need help creating a DSN go to

    Hope that helps.

IIS= Internet Information Services if using Win XP or 2000. You will find it under add/remove programs on the windows component potion. Have your CD ready if it is not installed.

PWS (personal Web server) is for windows 98 and I think ME.

It is the software that allows your windows to function as a web server.

MDAC Microsoft Data Access component allow Windows to serve ASP or ASP .NET pages. If your windows is up to dat eit should be as well.

DSN ( I do not remeber what it stands for Sorry, Data Source Name ?) it is the control panel/Data sources(ODBC) the link explains how to do it. Basically it lets windows know you want to use the DB you link it to for the web.

    Better ?
