    Thumbs up Unanswered: One to many relationships

    Is there a tool in Enterprise manager to list out the one to many & many relationships with a database?????:?:

    No tool, but you can query the SCHEMA tables or the system tables for relationships. Many-to-Many relationships are implemented through intermediary tables, so you won't get those directly.
    If it's not practically useful, then it's practically useless.

    When I was a younger lad, I had a similar problem with a one-too-many relationship...however, they both found out about the other, and it became a one-to-none relationship fairly quickly But I digress...

    I know this really doesn't answer your question directly, but we use VISIO to pull a diagram from the database (reverse engineering the database from SQL Server into Visio) and it does a pretty decent job of visually mapping the table relationships.

    Just a thought if you have access to Visio also...

    Oh, and whatEVER you do, don't let any of your relationships see your cellphone records!!! :lol:

    Cool relationship one to many

    Paul, I happen to using Visio, for the first time since 1999. I just forgot a wasnt trying to look it up. Fortunately, I fould the it on in Vision database-options-documents tab; Just a little modification from there and I have what I wanted. I was just a lad once to. And as far as cell phone goes. your right.
