    Cool Need DBA's in the DC area

    I 'm looking for DBAs with this experience Please contact garrydawkins@hotmail.com:
    The DBA will be primarily responsible for supporting production, test, and development database environments which entails monitoring and management of Sybase ASE and Sybase Replication Server. DBA will work closely with customer, 3rd party vendors, and developers to implement new solutions and maintain existing architecture.

    Requirements:

    Sybase experience on both Unix and Windows 2000 desirable

    Must be able to utilized Sybase techniques and methods to improve through put and response time

    Must be able to present and implement quality database design in a fast paced and aggressive working environment

    Must have strong knowledge of SQL, memory and cache
    allocation

    Experience with Transact SQL, Unix utilities, Shell Script or Perl

    Must be able to design and maintain OLTP and DSS database systems

    Must have five years of experience across full life cycle application and systems development

    Experience with Sybase IQ is a plus

    Job requires a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills have been acquired.

    Preference will be given to candidates that are Sybase certified.

    Cool Everything here is Government support.

    I'm telling you, It hasnt been this good in years. I get so many requirement specs in my email from resumes going back to 1990. I can't keep up. So, if your interested send me a resume at garrydawkins@hotmail.com. Any dba experience Sybase, SQL Server or Oracle. Hell, I got one ts gov project for a adabas natureal dba.
