    Unanswered: Which is the latest service pack(Confusion)

    select @@version:

    RTM.



    What do RTM stands for. Service Pack 4????? Do i have the latest SP installed!

    8.00.194 means no service pack applied to SQL server.
    RTM - Release To Manufacturing and for more details you can run XP_MSVER.
    SP4 relates to Windows 2k.

    Apply SP3a whihc is the latest service pack on SQL 2000.
