    Unanswered: @@SERVERNAME equivalent

    Hi all,

@@SERVERNAME in SQLSERVER returns the machine name in which server is running.

What is the equivalent of @@SERVERNAME in DB2?.

    Thanks,
    Kamesh.

There's the CURRENT SERVER register that actually contains the database name. If you're looking for a host name instead I don't think there's anything.

because the database/table can be spread over machines
