    Unanswered: Save single record as static web page

    Is it possible to publish a single record on a form to a web page?

    Thanks

    Or - maybe I could put a button on the form which would activate a piece of code to take the current record and incorporate it into some HTML?

    I'll work on this over the weekend.

    PS Any help would be appreciated

    precisely!

    dim strHTM as string
    strHTM = "<html>" & vbcrlf & "<head>" & vbcrlf & "</head>" & vbcrlf & "<body>"
    strHTM = strHTM & "my stuff is: " & myStuff & "<br>"
    strHTM = strHTM & "her stuff is: " & herStuff & "</body> </html>"

    ...and then when the page is cooked...

    dim FF as integer
    FF = freefile
    open c:\myPath\myPage.htm for append as FF
    print #FF, strHTM
    close #FF

    you can squeeze any/all html tags into your code without a problem as long as you remember to replace " in tags with ""

    the super folk at http://www.chami.com/html-kit/ will remind you how to markup a page manually if you need (for free).

    Got it, thanks

    Thanks for your response. Actually the HTML side of things was OK - it was Visual Basic I haven't done in a looong time, but it's coming back to me and I got that working.

    Regards
