Unanswered: Import Data from FMP3
I am trying to import data from a FMP3.0 that has over 2500 records and 800fields. I have the data in .csv format and when I imported the data I have over 6000 import errors, "Unparsable Record".
I also noticed some records in the field were blank and were not reported in the import errors. What would be the best way to bring in the data w/o this many problems?
Is it possible that some fields maybe larger than it normally should be and this would cause the problem?

do you mean 800 fields per record ? in that case 255 is the limit.
How can I get around data type conversion failures?
Also, I am importing from a flat file, I have an MD field that has the name of the MD's, in FMP3 and in the access DB the field is a number that is joined to an MD table. How can I do it so these type of fields are brought in.
Example = 1 dr. Death
2 Dr. Dolittle
you could use inStr function to look where Dr. Death is an replace it with his/hers MdID
