To retrieve the time it is necessary that it should have been stored in the first place. How does the column get populated?

If I understood well, he doesn't store time at all as this field in Oracle Forms has format dd-mm-rrrr.

The default date field in forms is the equilivent of a trunc'd date. Use datetime in the form and a time element will also be stored.

You do not need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.
