    Unanswered: Ingres to DB2 migration

We are in the process of migrating INGRES to DB2.
In Ingres db ,there are a lot of Dbevents. How dbevents will be migrated to DB2 database. In DB2,What is equivalent for dbevents? can somebody throw some light on this.

What is a dbevent? Sounds suspiciously like a db2 trigger... but I'm just going on the name.

There aren't any built-in mechanisms in DB2 that do anything like that, sounds a bit more like MQSeries than DB2. There are built-in hooks to MQSeries that could help, though.

    Other may have some ideas.

I was digging around an found this (good old internet!)

    http://www-106.ibm.com/developerwork...mukherjee.html

It might help, I think it was written to duplicate the Oracle dbms_pipe function but if it's the same it might apply.
