Unanswered: timer to open 9 spreadsheets

    hey guys,
what is the procedure to create a timer in VB so that it will open 9 excel spreadsheets at 7:30pm pacific time? This needs to be done daily so i don't have to sit at my computer to do it everyday. There are already macros built into the 9 spreadsheets so as soon as they open, the macros are run. Any ideas?

    Thank you

instead of having the program opened the whole day to run certain procedure at a specific time you can just add a Schedule task on
    accesories\system tools\schedule tasks

This is a great tip but I would need to open up specific 9 files in excel. The schedule task seems to be limited to just opening up excel itself. Is there a work around?

oh sorry I was a bit missleading
What I ment is that you make the VB app (which I suppose will open the 9 spreadsheets) and schedule it to do what you want it to do at a specific time

but you can also have 9 schedule tasks and istead of the VB app make a macro on the open event of each spreadsheet to do whatever you need to do in each spreadsheet
