    No, MySQL is still under development and many things whait for implementation (wiew, stored procedure) but is free.

    To create table...
    CREATE TABLE t1 (s1 INT, s2 CHAR(5) NOT NULL);

    Thumbs up

    MySQL and MS SQL Server are two different DBMS (Database Management Softwares). MS SQL Server is a Microsoft Product. It is much big and costlier than MySQL. MySQL is an open software means it is free to use and even the source are available.

    More over MySQL does not support all the features supported by MS SQL Server. You can use MySQL if your requirements are very low and budget is very tight.

    You can get the syntax for create table statement from the link
    http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql/en/CREATE_TABLE.html

    Hope this clears your doubt
