    Unanswered: Passing parameters to subreports

    How do I pass in pararmeters to the subreports from the main one?

    Can anyone offer me a solutions?

    Try this:

    Create parameter fields in your main report; insert them into your main report. Suppress those fields so they don't show.

    Now in the subreport, edit your links to the main report to include the parameters.

    That should do it I think. Let me know if it doesn't work as I have some reports where I've done this. The above is a quick guess.

    Hrm, i guess i post this on the wrong Heading.

    I'm currently working on SQL Server Reporting Service, and not Crystal Report.

    Very Sorry to post on the wrong place.

    But, does your reply works for SQL Sever Reporting Service too? :?

    Lol, no worries.

    Unfortuntaely I've never used the SQL Reporting Service so can't help you there. However the logic is sound so it should be possible.
