    Exclamation Unanswered: How To filter a Combo-Box...

    I'm trying to filter a Combo-Box to only show the values I want depending on the record I'm on. Ex. Get only those "contacts" (in the combo-box) from the Form "Company". (relationships already done "1-to-many"). I can't make that combo-box to show only the company "X" contacts. Could anyone help me with this? Thanks!

    How is this combobox bound? Is it bound? are all contacts listed? what is your table stucture? Is there a column to filter on? Get the idea ...

    google around for cascading combo boxes. It's conceptually identicle to what you want to do here, only the parent object happens to be a form.
    oh yeah... documentation... I have heard of that.

    Structure...

    * tbl_Companies
    --------------
    > [CompanyID]
    > [CompanyName]

    * tbl_Contacts: (Relationship: 1-Many)
    --------------
    > [ContactsID]
    > [ContactName]
    > [CompanyID]

    I want:
    Ex: Contact "A" from Company "X" and Contact "B" & "C" from Company "Z".

    In form "Companies", in the record of the company "Z" show in "Primary Contact" a bound combo-box ([ContactID], [ContactName]) only, in this example, contact "B" & "C", not "A".

    I hope I was clear enough....Thanks!

    have a nice one,
