Unanswered: Checking text box text against original

Wondering if anyone can help me with this?
I have a text box on a products form that allows a user to edit the current product details, one of these details is the total number of products received to date.

If the user edits this text box then they can set this value equal to less than the original value. I want to make sure that whatever number they enter, it is greater than the original value that was in the text box.

If it isn't i want to be able to display a message box telling them this.

check out the .oldvalaue propety of a bound control
you'll need to put somevba behind the form (or control) events

    probably beforeupdate, conceivably afterupdate
if before update, set the cancel property to true to reject changes
